Pathologist

We are currently recruiting for a client seeking a dedicated Pathologist to join their dynamic team. This role involves general diagnostic activities, including participation in rapid on-site evaluations and on-call duties. The successful candidate will be responsible for the macroscopic and microscopic examination of biopsies and surgical specimens and will play a key role in the training and supervision of assistant physicians.

Day-to-day of the role:

  • Conduct general diagnostic activities, participate in rapid on-site evaluations, and handle on-call duties.
  • Take charge of both macroscopic and microscopic examinations of biopsies and surgical specimens.
  • Participate in the training and supervision of assistant physicians.
  • Prepare for various multidisciplinary tumor boards and internal and external colloquia.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Must hold a federal medical degree and a FMH specialization in pathology, or an equivalent foreign qualification recognized by MEBEKO.
  • Strong background in surgical pathology.
  • Detail-oriented, precise, reliable, and responsible with a strong personal commitment.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent adaptability and integration skills with a good team spirit.
  • Proficiency in French (minimum B2 level in both written and oral communication).
